This building drew me. I don't know why, but when I first went past I knew I would be coming back to photograph it.

I've been informed that these probably aren't actually thistles, but that's what they look like to me. And the grace of the stems belies the dry and spiky first impression.

The composition feels balanced to me, though I'd be hard-pressed to explain why.
